In Lahore, Maryam Nawaz, the Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), strongly condemned former Prime Minister Imran Khan, emphasizing that May 9th marked a shameful day for Pakistan.

During a rally held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Pakistan's nuclear tests, Maryam expressed deep dismay over the scenes of violence and destruction that unfolded on May 9th, which were unprecedented in the country's history.

Maryam attributed the chaos to Imran Khan, highlighting his alleged instigation of his supporters towards violence, transforming Pakistan into a virtual battlefield.

Accusing Imran Khan of seeking assistance from the United States, Maryam claimed that he resorted to begging for help after being ousted from power.

In her speech, Maryam labeled Khan as a "traitor" and declared that he has no place within Pakistan.

Additionally, Maryam paid tribute to her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, crediting him with transforming Pakistan into a nuclear power.

She praised Nawaz Sharif as a courageous leader who fearlessly stood up against pressure from the United States, refusing to succumb to any form of coercion.

Maryam asserted that the people of Pakistan would forever remember May 9th as the day when Imran Khan brought disgrace upon the nation.

She concluded her address by affirming unwavering support for Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N from the people of Pakistan.
